Consignment:
A consignor will bring their second-hand item(s) in to be reviewed. After being looked at, a "yes" pile will be made. These are the clothes, furniture, and household items that will be acceptable for selling in the store. These items are generally in perfect condition and lightly used without any stains/damages/defects they must also be in season (example, if it's April clothing must be spring/summer items). The items will be priced at a fraction of their retail price (usually 1/3 to 1/4 of what they originally sold for). When a consignor's item(s) sell, they will make a percentage (50%) of the sold price so that the store and the consignee make a profit. Once their item(s) sell the consignor will be able to receive their funds the following month (example, If your jeans sell on June 10th you will receive your money after July 15th).
Consignment is not to be confused with "selling-outright." This is when a person will bring their items in and immediately receive a profit upon review.
